STEPS:
After that, scroll down and you will find Realtek High Definition Audio Driver. Click on the arrow at the right corners.
1. Go to task manager and select Startup. See if these two(as shown in figure) are enabled. Restart your computer only if you have changed from disable to enable.
2. Once step 1 is done go to www.dell.com/support
Your pc/laptop should be automatically detected, if not search for your device using the search bar.
After that select your pc/laptop then go to Drivers and Downloads. You will find a drop down box with this text
"Manually find a specific driver for your Inspiron 5490"
Click on find drivers.
Select your OS then in category select audio.
From there you will have an option for older versions, sometimes the new version will have some bugs (as I faced issues like this once) so it is recommended to try all the old versions if the new version is not working or if you face some errors with it.
